Coach
Ben Smith is a new coach here at Lakeside High School. Coach Smith
played soccer at Lakeside in 1997 where he was captain of the State
Champion Vikings. Ben earned the honor of being named to the 1997
Georgia All-State team, and he is looking forward to continuing
the Lakeside soccer tradition as the head JV boys coach. Coach Smith
has spent a majority of his life playing soccer and is looking forward
to sharing his knowledge and experience. Ben is also a new teacher
at the Atlanta Area School for the Deaf, where he is pursuing a
lifelong passion to help the Deaf population. Ben is a graduate
of the University of Georgia and enjoys watching and participating
in most sports. |
